Members may rent space at the wooden boat center to work on wooden boat projects. This may include repairs to existing boats or complete new builds. Space is allocated on a first come first served basis and must meet board approval. The board considers type of boat, length of time to complete, depth of work required and more. Included in the rental is use of tools and the society can supply materials at a reduced rate from retail. Members will assist if you need and provide guidance on the use of larger tools.

So if you are looking for space and need tools, you must first apply to the society. It is advisable to visit the center first to see if the space will meet your requirements and discuss your plans with the shop manager or one of the board members. When the society agrees on the project, an application will be sent out for board approval.
