The Vancouver Wooden Boat Society, in partnership with several community groups, organizations, and members operates the Wooden Boat Center in New Westminster, B.C.   The heritage building is owned by the city of New Westminster and sits in a Metro Metro Vancouver Park, but they have not really used this historic old warehouse on the Fraser River for anything more than storage and have graciously allowed us to utilize the space for projects related to wooden boats.  Whenever the center is open, members come in to work on donated boats, learn woodworking and other skills, so consider becoming a member and participate.
